As a member of DIYI, we have your name, email address and telephone number on file. We use this information for the purpose of contacting you by email regarding your membership, about classes and events, and in relation to bookings you may make on the DIYI website.
Using your Personal Data
As a member of DIYI, you are automatically a member of the IY(UK) and we share your information with them for the purpose of membership renewals and notification of events, such as Yoganusasanam in Pune, or Yoga Conventions.
As a teacher member of DIYI, we will list your contact details and classes you teach on the DIYI website with your permission. If we receive a request for a teacher in a particular area, we will share your contact details and details of your classes if you give your permission.
The DIYI may ask permission to take photographs at certain classes or events for the purpose of marketing and promoting events.
Security of your Personal Data
The DIYI will not share any personal details with any other third party without your agreement.
You are entitled to request the following from the DIYI:-
The right to request a copy of personal information held about you.
The right to request that inaccuracies are corrected.
The right to request us to stop processing your personal data.
The right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
